LOS ANGELES LAKERS (-3)
Although the Lakers are in a bit of turmoil once again after trading Fisher, this team has found a groove as of late, being lead by a renewed sense of dominance by Bynum, who may have finally found his voice in the NBA. Dude has been going off as of late, and comes into tonight's meeting fresh off a monster 33-point effort in the Lakers loss against Utah on their home court Sunday night. Kobe also had one of the worst shooting nights of his entire career that night, as the man of LA missed 17 of his 20 shots taken, his worst shooting percentage in a game since way back in 2004. Houston is running a little thin with both Lowry (questionable) and Martin (doubtful) for them tonight, while the Lakers also have World Peace listed as questionable as well. LOL Did I really just write that? I think we can officially list World Peace as highly doubtful, but as far as Metta World Peace, well, he is actually questionable. Still, all hilarious jokes aside, the Lakers have actually posted a 10-2 ML record in their L12 games played against the Rockets, with Kobe Bryant averaging nearly 31 PPG in the L4 meetings against them. The Lakers should be able to overcome the emotional drain that suddenly plagued them after the trade of Fisher, which was evidenced by their loss against the Jazz on their home court, ultimately snapping their 5 game winning streak and sudden return back to legitimacy. The Lakers have won 3 straight on the road and will face off against a Houston squad that has posted a 1-2 record in their L3 on their home court and are playing for only their 2nd time on their home court in their L9 games. If Los Angeles can keep the Rockets around the 21% rate from downtown, which is what they have been doing to opponents over their L5 games, this one could be a runaway win for the Lakers tonight. Roll with Kobe and the LOS ANGELES LAKERS to COVER on the road again.......
