What more can you say about this early morning start to this MLB season?! I love the MLB!! And so do the MEMBERS around here!!
If you were with us throughout the whole season last year, it was a record-breaking year once again as we hit +600 UNITS on the season overall!! That's right, +600 UNITS!!
However, even if you didn't follow our SUGGESTED BETTING STRATEGY completely, you still made OVER $12,000 on the 6-MONTH season overall!! PLUS we added another 15+ UNITS in the MLB POSTSEASON to go along with it -- on a $100 system!!
If you have been waiting to get on board -- this is the best time to finally make the plunge. But just to seal the deal -- here is what our MEMBERS are starting out their MLB season with in action tonight - well, tomorrow - in the Japan Classic......
TODAY'S PLAYS --
(MLB)
*2 UNITS* SEATTLE MARINERS (-130) AND OVER 7 (EVEN)
Both of these teams once again come into this season with the lowest of expectations, as this should legitimately be the start of a battle for last place in the American League West all season long, because it would take some legitimate Money Ball and a near Armageddon for one of these two teams to overtake the monsters of the West in Los Angeles and Texas (and yes, that is in a particular order in my opinion). In fact, perhaps MLB decided on these two teams to showcase because they are merely shopping to sell a team to play in the Japan leagues. Alright I kid there, but seriously, why is this series the kick-off to the 2012 season again? Did the Yankees and Red Sox all have prior engagements? But I digress. Focusing on this game, the Mariners would appear the be the money play for us here tonight, as they do come into this one on a current 5-game winning streak in Opening Day games, as well as have former Cy-Young winner Hernandez on the mound looking to rebound for a sub-par 2011 showing. It was a bit of a disappointing season for the superstar hurler, as he finished off his 2011 campaign, 14-14 with a 3.47 ERA in 33 starts. But in actuality, that is pretty good, considering he pitched for a Mariners team that won 67 total games on the season and he was the ace of a staff that ended up with the 6th best team ERA (3.90) in the AL. Hernandez was money against the A's last season too, posting a 3-0 record with a 1.45 ERA and 32 K in 31 IP. In his career he has owned the Oakland franchise as well, compiling a 12-4 career record against them with a tidy 2.54 ERA as well as a 1.14 WHIP, while allowing a .224 BAA against the team in 21 career starts. He has been even better against the A's since the 2007 season however, posting an 11-2 record in that span and a 2.35 ERA in those 17 games. The only person with any real success against him on the current A's roster would be Suzuki (.308 2B HR 3 RBI 3 BB 3 K), but other than that the rest of the guys that have faced him have only managed to put forth a meager 10-for-50 effort against King Felix with only 1 2B 1 HR and 3 RBI. Also Hernandez has been the Ace to kick off the season for the Mariners lately, as he has posted a 3-0 record in his 4 Opening Day starts in his career. This Mariners line-up does also have plenty of room for upside this season and should do much better than last season's AL and MLB worst team averages of a .233 BA / .292 OBP / .348 SLG / .640 OPS and 556 R. Yup, they were that dreadful. But a lot of the younger guys with promise like Ackley, Carp, Peguero and Smoak should have even better break-out years this year, to go along with expected rebounding years out of Figgins and Ichiro to name a few. The Mariners struggled against the A's ace last season as well, as despite the fact that McCarthy posted a weak 1-3 record against the M's in 2011, he did have a staggering 1.99 ERA and an even more unbelievable 3 complete games in 4 starts! He has struggled against the Mariners in his his career however, as he has an unimpressive 2-5 record to go with a 4.20 ERA through 9 career starts against the division rival. Some guys have had some moderate success against him throughout their careers, but nothing to really write home to momma about. Figgins has the highest career BA against McCarthy at .385, but he has only faced him 13 times. Even Ichiro has been held below .250 against McCarthy in his career (.247), but he does have a HR and a couple of RBI against him. In fact, the expected Mariners regulars do have 3 HR and 10 RBI against him in their career. I know this doesn't necessarily all add up to the makings of an Over, but tonight should be a little different as I can see this ending up as a 5-3 final, or 6-2, something in that nature. This Mariners offense should be looking to jump out on the right foot and hopefully will be feeling the momentum of having their ace on the mound. Unfortunately they haven't looked all that great in games against recent Japanese teams leading up to this one, but this morning should be a different story.
Ichiro should be key in today's game. Roll with the SEATTLE MARINERS and the OVER in today's battle over Japan.......
There you have it!! That is our MLB action for this WEDNESDAY of OPENING DAY!! Just to make sure everyone is on page with the SBS, this email should amount to roughly 3.6 UNITS of wagers in action. You would be wagering 2 UNITS on the Mariners at -130 (2.60 UNITS) and would be wagering 1 UNIT even on the Over play. All plays in MLB now will be made according to that. If the SUGGESTED BETTING STRATEGY changes, we will make sure to send it out to all.....
DO NOT MISS OUT ON WHAT IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER MONSTER SEASON IN THE MLB!! WE WILL DESTROY YOUR BOOKIES THIS SEASON ONCE AGAIN!!
Best of luck to all tonight!! Let's get that money!!
