Wow -- what a weird day yesterday was. We CRUSHED the MLB action, going 6-2 on the day, but unfortunately the two losses happened to be on the double-unit plays. But, it still should have been an even 2 UNITS in PROFITS in the MLB action for everybody out there and for the parlay lovers, hopefully it was a little more for you as well!!
But then the NBA action came and once again OKC came up as an absolute dud for us. They just never were in it, really. They gave us a glimmer of hope when cutting the lead to only 6 points late in the 4th quarter - but you just had to know the Spurs (who had missed 12 of 15 FG to allow them back in it) were going to start hitting some shots. A very disappointing night there......
But we just have to shake it off and roll on. It has still been a MONSTER MONTH of MAY!!
AND WE ARE ALLOWING YOU TO CASH IN HUGE WITH US ONCE AGAIN!! WE ARE TRYING FOR YOU FREEBIE FOLLOWERS - AND ANOTHER DAY OF MLB PROFITS SHOULD DO THE TRICK!!
BUT JUNE IS GOING TO BE EVEN BIGGER!! GUARANTEED!! AS THE SUMMER MONTHS BEGIN TO HEAT UP, SO DO WE!! AND WE ARE GOING TO BLAZE THROUGH JUNE!! AND LOOK AT OUR OPTIONS, THERE REALLY IS NO REASON FOR YOU NOT TO BE ON BOARD!!
Let's get to it today........
TODAY'S PLAYS --
(MLB)
MINNESOTA TWINS (-120)
Today may be a bit of a "sweep" day of sorts and it could all be helped in the beginning with the Twinkies if they can manage to show up with their first chance to pick up a series set coming on their own home turf in this early afternoon affair. But the Twins should have all the momentum in the world after shaking off the cobwebs of a sluggish 0 R effort through the first 8 innings yesterday, only to have Willingham propel the Twins to a huge walk-off victory with the 3 R HR in the bottom of the 9th inning off the A's closer Fuentes. The Twins will turn to Liriano and hope for him to stop the bleeding on his season so far, as he is a lousy 0-5 in 2012 with a horrifying 8.47 ERA through 11 appearances (6 GS) this season. In fact, this will be his first official start for him since May 7, a game in which he was rocked for 4 ER in 5 IP against the LAA. In fact, he has been the definition of horrible as a starter this season, as he has posted that 0-5 record in those 6 starts and has allowed at least 4 ER or more in every single start this season, and allowing 5 ER or more in 4 of the 6 games. In fact, he has tossed 26.2 IP in those 6 starts and has allowed 37 H and 28 ER to go along with 19 BB, while striking out 21. That gives him a 9.44 ERA in his 6 actual starts this season with a staggering 2.09 WHIP. And opposing hitters just seem to have their way with him, no matter which capacity he throws out off, as he has been torched for a .326 BAA in his meager 34 innings of work. He did shut down the majority of the A's hitters in his only appearance against them last season, a 9-5 Twins win in Oakland, in which Liriano was at his best, tossing 7 innings of 2 R ball. He held the core of the A's roster of Crisp, Weeks, Pennington and Suzuki to a combined .250 BA (3-for-12) with all of those hits being singles with 0 BB and 3 K to round it out. Career-wise, the A's hitters have pretty much struggled for the most part against Liriano, but none more so than Inge, who is a lifetime 4-for-32 (.120) hitter against Liriano with only 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 BB and a whopping 16 K!! The rest of the supporting cast hasn't been much better against Liriano lifetime as that same four-some mentioned above is a combined 8-for-33 (.240) with only 1 2B, 2 RBI, 2 BB and 6 K. Throw in an expected lineup of Gomes and Ka'aihue who have combined to go 0-for-5 with absolutely no stats to show for it at all in their careers against Liriano. That puts most of the usual A's starting lineup at a combined .170 career average against Liriano, with only 1 2B and 1 HR to show for it in their 70 total AB. Ross is on the hill for the A's in this one and he hardly deserves a second glance in terms of value here today as they A's have posted a dismal 1-5 record in his L6 starts and he has been "rocked" in his career appearances against the Minnesota franchise, including leaving his lone start against them after tossing 7 pitches last season. He gave up a hit to Kubel (now w/ AZ) who ended up scoring. In his career he has given up 2 ER in 2/3 of an IP to give him a ballooned 27.00 ERA against them. Minnesota is also currently 5-2 in their L7 games between the two teams, while the A's are just looking for a way out of town, losers of 7 straight games, and having scored more than 3 R in only 2 of their L10 games overall. If the Twins roll out their good lineup for this one, it should be sweep city. Roll with the MINNESOTA TWINS at a decent price to sweep at home today..........
KANSAS CITY ROYALS (+110) AND UNDER 8.5 (-110)
This isn't exactly a sweep here, but Chen and Gonzalez should equate to a nice pitching duel through the first 5-6 innings or so, and the bullpen should come in and do the rest. 4-3 Royals sounds about right here.......
CHICAGO CUBS (-125)
This one is another sweep and although Dempster is currently on a 17-game winless drought, he has allowed 2 ER or less in 6 of his 8 starts this season. The Cubs should be able to put some runs on the board for him today and he should earn the W for the first time in a mighty long time here today.
There you have it!! That is our action for this WEDNESDAY MORNING in the MLB!! Let's get this HUMP DAY started on a HUGE note.....
Best of luck to all today!! Let's get that money!!
