Alright so a nice 4-1-1 night again last night, thanks once again to yet another 3-0 night in the MLB for the second time in 3 days!! As we expected, the Cubs continue to roll and finished off the Cardinals in easy fashion!! Let's keep it rolling again today......
TODAY'S ACTION --
TORONTO BLUE JAYS (-170) AND
OVER 8 TEX RANGERS @ TOR BLUE JAYS (-105)
These two offenses have done exactly as expected in this series and have hit for 8 runs or more in 3-of-the-4 games in this series. We don't expect that to change today as this elimination game pits the same two starters that faced off against each other in Game 2, a 6-4 win for the Rangers in a 14 inning marathon. Stroman was expected to miss the entire season after injuring his knee during spring training, but whatever rehab program he was on seemed to work amazingly well. He returned to the Blue Jays rotation in September and has been great since then, posting a perfect 4-0 record and 1.67 ERA to finish off the season. Stroman allowed 6 H or less in each game in that span. Hamels was tagged for 4 R in 6 IP during his side of the Game 2 start, although the former World Series MVP was brilliant down the stretch, allowing 2 ER or less in 4-of-his-L5 starts to close out the season. Still this Blue Jays team should be too much for the Rangers once again, especially considering they dropped their first 2 games of this series at home, the first postseason game played in Toronto in 22 seasons. Both teams should have a timely HR or two to push this one over, but the Blue Jays will get it done at home today. Roll with the TORONTO BLUE JAYS and the OVER in today's series clincher.......
That is our FREEBIE action for this WEDNESDAY in the MLB!!
